This sounds to easy and I've always heard if it's to good to be true it probably is.
I hope someone has tried it and reports back

I'd have to say
LeeA & Garry
Thanks for the tip LeeA..
I like what I read about the Sealer Gloss but, before I use it... I want to see the MSDS info on this product.
Therefore, I've fired off an e-mail request to the company for a printed copy of the MSDS for this product..
We'll see..
I've never tried the "Metal Polisher" before but, I tend to agree with Garry..
It almost sounds like it works best on metal surface in better than decent shape..
For something that's as badly oxided as most A/S are, I'm wondering..like you..
ciao

I agree, it's like Southern Shine, works good but I'll stick with Nuvite for oxidized aluminum. I'm thinking of using this to keep the water spots off my already polished trailer. Currently I'm wiping it down with Nuvite S grade which works fine. I've used Southern Shine but Nuvite S gives it a higher mirror finish and both require about the same work to apply..

I have just ordered a bottle of each, Metal polish and Sealer. Purely for an experiment. I polished mine last winter and it needs it again. I didn't wax it and since we live in Florida w/i 8 miles of the Atlantic, we get a lot of salt in the air.
I will try the product and report back. If it is half as good as the claims say it is, it should be a superior product. Time will tell.

30+ years of oxidation vs 4-6 months
Think about it Tim....It can't be another 100+ hours! It should only be a once over with "S"...maybe a solid weekend or two, but that's it.

At my speed I expect it will take about 20 hours. I did some of it and it went fairly quickly, much to my delight. The original project took 200 hours of stripping and polishing over a 2 month period.

Salty Dogs
Remember folks that those of us within 30 miles or so of salt water are in the "high maintenance ' polish category !!
Only consolation is that our polishing season is longer !!

Tim,
I consider that a fair and equitable trade-off.

Super Shine Metal Polish
I said earlier that I would report back on how the SS testing went.
The Metal Gloss will bring out the lustre on the aluminum as advertised, however, it will not remove much oxidation or water spotting. I applied it with both a cloth and with the Cyclo Polisher. I used it as directed with the Metal Gloss and Metal Sealer in a 50/50 mix. I was hoping for a miracle. Just wipe it on and the water spots and oxidation disappear. Nope. The only way is the hard way. Nuvite and elbow grease.
The polish has no grit as the Nuvite does.
I polished my Excella last winter and as I mentioned before I live near the ocean. The finish had oxidized and because I didn't use a sealer beyond Nuvite "S" I got water spotting.
This time I am using Nuvite "C" as a compound and got a cheap right-angle polisher with which to compound. After compounding, I use the Cyclo polisher with Nuvite "C" and then Nuvite "S". I finish off with two coats of Mother's Carnuba Wax. The waxing leaves the finish ever so slightly hazy. I am not pleased with that but if it makes the next polishing easier and keeps the shine longer, I'll be happy.
I did leave one area, that I cleaned with the Nuvite as described above. finished with the Metal Gloss and Sealer mix to see how it holds up to the weather.
Unfortunately, my body has failed me half way through the project and my back went out. Hate it when that happens. So it will be a week or so before I can resume.
Sorry about the Super Shine. I had high hopes since I am by nature, lazy.

BUMMER !
Another 'miracle' product crashes and burns!! You -however get karma for trying!!
If you've got the fortitude to try another here's one that looks promising.
It's called PPC Prestige Protective Polish on the Wicks Aircraft site. PPC Prestige Protective Polish
