Looking for Southern Shine - Metal Polish

On our trip down and back we were so preoccupied with getting the new A/S and getting it home safely we completely forgot to look for this product some of you are raving about - Southern Shine.

Greg tested a patch on the back of "MoonBeam" and I think it will be just the ticket.

Anyway my parents are heading back from Florida via Destin for a couple of days and it might be my chance to pick some up.

Does anyone know where they could pick it up - or is it all by mail order?

If it is mail order has anyone found a good reputable supplier with reasonable shipping rates within Florida.

If my parents kind find it then I can have it shipped to their friends who will be coming home at the end of March.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. This is the little patch test - so we like what we see!

We got our first shipment of it from a motorcycle place called Barney's Leather, 438 North Beach St, Daytona Beach, FL. I don't have a phone # for them. This was arranged through someone else, so I don't know if they carry it regularly or if they got it in special. But it's a place to start.

GT6921...what did you use to remove the clearcoat? Or did the Southern Shine cut through all that to the aluminum?

As far as I know it was just the Southern Shine but I'm sure if you PM gsymes he can let you know.

He sent us the picture just before we left for the States I think He just wanted to get Peter and I real excited - and we still had another 7 days before we could actually see our purchase in person.

I know that Southern Shine may not have the "Professional Shine and longevity" as the full blown process explained in many threads - but it sure does help on the pocket book. And for the few canucks up our way that own Streamers we will still be the shiniest toy on the Trent System!
