Just the beginning... Suggestions Sought
Greetings.....I just joined because I have recently purchased a 1987 290 class A. It's a good coach but it looks REALLY rough! I was able to blast the old woodgrain striping off and the glue underneath with no problems. Most of the black paint on the accent striping has been baked in the sun for 25 years and a good bit of it was also blasted off with the pressure washer, but even letting the citrus stripper sit on the black paint removes more of the residual, but you can still see black on the aluminum skin. I'm hesitant to scrape the surface or brush it for fear of scratching. Does anyone have any ideas to remove this old black paint residue?
