Sorry forgot to highlight areas of my concern, area around screw ( top left ) and around exhaust plate. It has scaly properties.

That’s filiform corrosion. Lots of threads about it if you search. I think the consensus is grind/sand it away and reclearcoat it. A Dremel would probably work well to do that. I’ve never done it myself, so I’m not an expert on the issue.
