Is this a classic case off filform
We have finally started on the task of polishing, using Nuvite on our 66 Overlander, the door has lots of black speckles, is this a classic case off fillform?
We have been told we can remove this using a 500 grit sanding disc on the polisher followed by 1000 grit and 2000 grit with lubricant oil sprayed first to the door, and then finished off with Nuvite F7, C and S.
What do you think?
What do people think about going over the whole AS with 1000 / 2000 grit before using the Nuvite polish? As this would seem a much quicker process if the trailer has heavy oxidation?
Also we have cloudy patches, does just mean I did to make more passes with the Nuvite F7?
One last question, why is the flag on the street side appear to be back to front? (see the attached photo’s) at first I thought the POV must have removed this and put it on wrong, but checking other photos online this seems to be how they left the factory, why ?
