Good quote for polish touch up.

With the 63 Overlander home, we have thought about doing a touch up polishing on it. From discussions with a few others, we only need a cyclo run. There is a local guy in New Braunfels that has polished a couple of Airstreams, and initially offered to do it for $800. I don't want to pay for him to "get more experience," but he wants to know what is a fair price for his experience level for just the cyclo pass.

Havng never paid for polishing, anyone else have ideas that are fair for the job?

I'd say that $800 for a Cyclo touch up is reasonable provided he meets your expectations. You could always buy a Cyclo and do it yourself and in a couple of weekends have it done for the cost of a Cyclo and supplies.
