Just read a multitude of opinions, saw actual finished work and lots of recommendations on polishing. I have a 1994 34'. White top, lots of clearcoat gone along the roof edges, can't match the swish or strips. But, below the mid-level seam it looks real good. Has anyone done half polish and how did it look and hold up? The bottom half has a nice patina look and all the clearcoat is intact. I tested the top half with Rolite and it shined up real fine.
Need some insight to help me decide if I should go to the P&S guys (right up the road from me) or buff/polish. I can handle the work but don't know the technique. Don't like the oxidized stuff and ratty looking missing clearcoat. Could use some help in one thread so my thoughts don't get screwed up.
Go with P&S for polish or Dick McIntyre in Oregon for the best restoration.
