Cyclo to borrow in Chicago?

So... Got my brand new Cyclo from Perfect Polish a couple weeks ago, and after temps in the 90's, and torrential downpours that lasted days on end...

I finally got started a couple days ago. And then, after about 6 or 8 hours total use on this thing, it dies.

Flipping the switch does nothing, and yes I've tried other outlets.

Anyone in the Chicago area that can loan me theirs while mine is in for repairs? I'd really like to finish up this basic polish job, and it was going along swimmingly until 10 minutes ago.

Thanks~

Then again... maybe there's a DIY troubleshooting PDF floating around here. Is there a fuse that could've blown, or a little dip switch I can reset? I'm not encouraged by the fact it doesn't even hum or buzz.

I's as if it's not even plugged in.

Sounds like the cord or switch is bad. If there is a warrentee you should send it back. If you bought it without a warrentee, you have nothing to lose. Take it appart and find the problem. If it is the switch you can usually take them appart and clean the contacts.

Bought it brand new, so I could certainly send it in but would rather not waste several weeks of valuable, warm weather while it's being serviced!

Thankfully though, it's working perfectly now. Maybe it just want a little coffee break.

Fingers crossed that this was a one time anomaly.

sounds like something is loose. The cyclos are very durable and their design has not changed at all in many years. I think you might have an issue that will come back again, so be prepared to send it back if it happens again.
