Man, seriously vague question. If you've purchased one and can't figure out what to do with it, here are a few things to consider:

Use a small amount of polish. A dab on each side will suffice just fine.

Change the covering materials frequently. Whether that's t shirts, fleece, etc, either move it around or change them out after a 4x4 section.

Move the cyclo around quickly. Work in a 3x3 section and move the cyclo around rapidly. This is the opposite from when you're using a heavy cutting compound.

If you explain the question a little more, I'm sure you'll get a better, more informed response.
