I was just thinking of how hard it is to get the small parts polished and wondered if anyone had ever used a soda blaster on window frames and and other hard to polish places? Dave
Sounds like a good idea. Best thing I came up with to clean the frames on the inside and outside, mine had a lot of corrosion, was the scotch-brite bobs for my dremel tool. They make quick work on the crud. Downside is they are rather expensive and don't last too long.

I just used a wire brush on the Dremel, it's didn't scratch it, but left swirls. My old window is really shiny now.
I also use the Magic Eraser dipped WD40 if it's not too intense.
