Cleaning old Vulcan/Trempro off exterior aluminum

I recently discovered that the bezel for my marker light had been Tremproed to the exterior aluminum side of the camper. Does anybody have any suggestions or tips for cleaning the Trempro residue that remains? I have tried mineral spirits and that doesn't seem too effective. Thanks in advance for your guidance/wisdom.
