cleaning and polishing

new owner looking for advice on cleaning and polishing products. Also, does the airstream have a factory installed coating that can be damaged with abbrasive polishes.

Check out the polishing area in the forums and post that question again.

I'm pretty sure that modern Airstreams like your 2008 come with a clearcoat. I would not advise polishing. You can wash it, as you would a car, and probably wax it as well.

It is hard to beat regular old Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash available just about everywhere. It even takes off the sap that we get on our trailer sitting under the trees, and it will not harm the clear coat. That, and it is very reasonably priced.
