This is my 5th AS product. An 1981 Excell II, 27, it is old and the gel coat is peeling off. I don't want to strip and polish, I like the old girl as she is. I don't look so bright and shinny myself. What I am looking for is a product that will let my wash my baby and get the road gunk off. Thank you for your time Bill z

Howdy and welcome to airforums.com, Bill! We're pleased you decided to drop in,and I know you will find the answer to your question about cleaning.

I don't think that there's anything that will hide the fact that your clearcoat is peeling, but Walbernize is still a popular cleaner / shiner-upper for Airstreams.

However, I am positive you will see many more suggestions pretty quickly.

My 1981 Excella II isnt as shiny as it should be, but thank God myeyesight isnt as good as it used to be. When I worked on yachts in the 70s we used to say youll never see it from the boardwalk. Sal.
