Use Aircraft stripper.

Keep it off of all plastics and yourself.

Hi and welcome.

I used a product called Jasco paint stripper to remove the interior paint. All you have to do is paint it on, leave for a few minutes and scrape it off. I know there are other products out there that you can spray on, leave for a few minutes and was off. Of course the paint would have to be on the outside. Good luck

Oh by the way any pics of your Bubble?

Is it a Bubble or Cruisette? Cruisettes had the white exterior, Bubbles were typically unpainted "originally". Another tell-tale way of knowing (besides a tag VIN number) is the Cruisettes only have an exterior skin on the end caps - no interior skin. Regardless, post pics when you can ~

1951/52 Crusiette - 15'
1955 Bubble - 16'
1956 Bubble - 16'
1957 Bubble - 16'
1958 Bubble - 16'

BTW, we used Kleen Strip Aircraft stripper for all our tough stripping tasks - both inside & out on both our trailers - as needed.

We used Kleen Strip Aircraft Stripper...it has methylene chloride - no problem! But read all the warning labels and wear gloves, this stuff burns on contact with your skin. If you are really concerned about the methylene chloride, they do have a non-methylene chloride formula available too. The last can I bought was the low odor formula - it didn't seem to work as quickly, and it still burns your skin.

We have used it for 20 years, without it causing any aluminum problems.
