attaching bezel tail light

Anybody know a method to attach the tail light housing. I have access to the rear. It has holes drilled into it and was attached on the back by rivets. Are these special type of rivets? I see difficulty in lining up rivet drilling to the housing holes.

You might want to check out my thread. It may answer many of your guestions. The tail light Bezels are only pop rivrted on. I did mine somewhat different, as seen in that portion of my thread. I also have some pic's on the wing window issues I had.

An amazing thread! Now that I know what you do for a living I don't feel like " gee, I must have missed all this somewhere along the way". Just really nice work, and of course years of experience. As for me I am a building contractor who now has time on his hands and the old AS is finally getting attention, but it will never get the attention yours got, sad to say.But you have inspired me to get a lot more innovative.
