Any recommendations for good Exterior Polisher in Southern California?

I live in Santa Barbara and am looking for a business in Southern California, as close to me as possible, who could do a great job on polishing the skin of a 1965 unit. There is also some rivet repair needed where a panel of skin has separated from the adjacent panel, so I need a place that can handle both things.

Also as a newby I'd appreciate an idea of what a fair price is to pay for a 30 foot trailer...

Polishing

You should contact Uwe at www.area63productions.com. You can see what he has done to our 68 Ambassador on his website under Blog. He replaced some panels in the back and he has done a terrific job. paula

Remeber that the exterior is Alclad, which corrodes very quickly.

If you keep the trailer within 50 miles of salt water, you must wax it every "week.

We do not polish, but we understand that those that do, charge about $9000.00 for a 30 foot trailer.

Maybe not...

There must be a number of variables that would affect the "polish every week" type of statement.
Below is a trailer that was polished once a year, with one wax in between.
I live 15 miles inland.

A friend of mine paid $4500.00 to have his 30 ft. Airstream polished. It came out really nice. He hasn't complained much about the upkeep.

Recently he tried to get in touch with the Polishing Guru in Riverside to get a estimate to have it gone over again but can't get him by phone. Is the Polishing Guru still in business??
