Airstream Dent removal & Polishing

Hi!

I'm looking for a company to remove a softball shaped dent on the back corner of my airstream (the entire panel I guess) as well as have the entire unit polished. Any referrals or recommendations for anyone that specializes with Airstreams in the Northwest area would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm located near Vancouver, BC, Canada. However I bring the Airstream to the US several times a year.

Check the year

Makes a big difference when it comes to replacement panels. Later aluminum won't match. If its an early model....see the parts for sale now. There are some early panels for sale. Some specialized repair facilities have the older panels too.....but getting rare. If you run into problems let me know. I have some early stuff located. Good luck.

If the dent is just a dent without any creases, a good metal worker can probably fix the original.

sorry this is second hand advice, i have two dents that i wanted fixed on my avion. a man came and looked at it and told me if you buff it long enough to heat the aluminum. you could very easily pop the dents out with a screw dent puller then cover the hole(which the screw puller will leave). he said it would be very simple? i don't know if this helps. my husband is a millwright. and claims this will work. i'll see in the spring!
