Window rock guard hinge
I’ve been getting better at looking through previous threads before throwing my questions out there. But,couldn’t find one on this. Though, it’s probably here somewhere.
I need help re-attaching this hinge back to the window rock guard frame. Thanks

Could you post a picture? It would help clarify what you’re trying to do.

The screw holding the rock guard shut is a quarter turn to lock, it is not a screw per- say!

Once I figure out how to attach a picture,I’ll come back to this. Thanks guys. I did happen to stumble onto a earlier post with my same problem. One of the two hinges had the rivets fail and he ended up drilling completely through the window frame. Then used nuts & bolts to reattach the hinge. Looked like a decent fix. I was going to try and go with rivets but apparently it was very tight and difficult.
Just had my grandson help me with the photo !!

That's what grandkids are for!
I would try riveting
Go up one size. Did that for an awning bracket

If there is space behind, you could add a rivet washer on the backside for the rivet to grip.
