Jack

Lauren, The jack for the '68 would fit my trailer if he's willing to sell any parts. Seems strange that if he has them in a salvage yard that he wouldn't want to make more money off them by selling individual parts! The scrap value to sell the entire unit with a scrap title would be way less than parting out could earn him... WTH! See if you can speak to John and determine if there will be any parts for sale or not and let me know! Thanks, Ed

I don't believe I saw anything as old as a 69, but I could be wrong. I believe the oldest I saw was about a 71 International.

I took about 50 photos overall. Here are 10 of a late 80's Excella. The curb side pano window is salvageable.

Looks like the provision for adding photos has been removed. I can't see how to add photos.

ok, after confirming that i definitely got poison ivy during this scouting trip, i am happy to confirm these airstreams are very, very, rough. Picture trailers from the 80's , mostly 90's that are salvaged due to roll overs and have been sitting exposed for 20 years. Welcome to national recovery service.

eerg. the google+ app won't upload the rest... try these for now.

The gentleman who owns this place has owned it for 40+ years and wants to get rid of the remaining RV's; he doesn't want to waste his time with parting them out and does want to sell them whole and is willing to do a good deal on them. He is older and seems to want to get out of the biz.

Is it just me or are those pictures really heartbreaking?

And sorry about your PI - that's never fun.

Wonder if those visible ghost numbers can be tracked down?

ill third that -at dinner i was telling my husband i felt so sad seeing all the personal effects. Like an abandoned home with the table all made up. still had tupperware, food items, bags, cleaning stuff, papers, books, etc. in them. someone's vacation turned horrid and that was the end. POOF! gone.

I tried tog et as many WBCCI # as i could in the shots in case anyone wanted to track um down. Great minds think alike.

on edit; could you imagine if you were the owner, then seeing these photos 20 years after your beloved airstream was wrecked? AHHH! tears my heart to pieces!

I am curious as to what a bumper would cost that would fit a 66 caravel. I live too far away to go fetch it. Thanks Stefan

NAPA or any automotive parts store. Just ask for tie rods (or other parts) for a 1979 chevy p30 van chassis. This goes for brakes, springs, and anything else mechanic related to the driving part of the moho.

in my quest to find parts, I have located a lady who is parting 2 trailers. a 67 and 68 ambassador or longer. one is in 'saveable' shape; the other other is too far gone, off its frame, frame is twisted and rotted, no windows, etc. she has some parts from trailers she sold previously.
In trade for the parts i need, i'm helping her sell the other parts. I went this weekend and took many, many photos. there's lots of good stuff; hatch doors, body panels, interiors, lights, an entire bathroom, original faucets, etc. And parts from past trailers, too, including early 60's trailers.

Whats NOT here: glass, rear hatch, fridges...

if anyone is interested in seeing photos, go to

here are some for your easy viewing entertainment-

Parts

Lauren, I am currently in the Fayetteville, N.C. area on vacation. I am interested in the screens and the tongue jack. If I could stop by somewhere on my way home to Illinois to see them I would likely purchase them. If there is an address and a phone number that you could PM me I would make arrangements to meet you or her. Please let me know. Ed

I just came across an extensive list of locations that seem to be handling RV's or RV parts. Check out the following:

NOTE: lots of info. however, last update was in 2004
