When we removed panels that had 1/8” rivets, we went back with 5/32”. There are specific belly pan rivets also. Are you talking about interior pop rivets or exterior modified brazier buck rivets? Vintage Trailer Supply has a little bit of information on sizes. Hanson Rivet & Supply Company has some knowledgeable people in sales. Good luck.

You should make sure you have both 1/8 and 5/32 clecos in hand. Always start with 1/8 if you drill with 1/8. Save the 5/32 for use after you have everything pinned. Aluminum sheet moves like fabric and you want your 5/32 holes to be the last thing you drill after everything is clamped.
