What kind of tires do I need for '76 LY 27'

I am going to pick up a 76 Land Yacht 27' about 800 miles away. The owner says that the tires were on the trailer 15 years ago when they bought it and they are vinyl but have deep treads. That sounds very old to me. I think I should change them before i pull it home. What kind of tires should i get? Is that something you pick up at the local tire dealer? Help... I am a newbie!

ST225/75R15D, or 7.00X15LT. One is radial, the other bias.

If you want to get it home on the new tires, pick up a set of LT Michelins. From what I've read, you do NOT want to go with Goodyear Marathons.
