That looks like something "BUBBA" installed! Never seen anything like it before. What does it attach to on each end?

What is this Chassis Part

It is on both sides of the chassis, looks like it may have something to do with the Brake system but I'm not sure. these were the best I could do without getting under the trailer. will take more pics and post tomorrow if no one can tell me what the heck this is.

Originally trailer HAD a Brake Actuator. Electric brakes were installed long before I bought this trailer, not sure when or even if previous owner knew. Just very curious what this was, I have not seen it before and is on both sides of the chassis.

Looks kinda like a steering stabilizer, no clue why it's on an Airstream. My brother had a 77 with the vacuum actuated breaks, I'm pretty sure it didn't have 2 or even 1 of those.

Did some looking around with Steering Stabilizer as the search, and ran across this. I am mainly seeing them for installation on 4x4 vehicles, no trailers yet, that I have run across. But this is interesting. I am not mechanically inclined enough to understand why someone would add this, but was hoping to understand what they were, I think I may have found the answer, but will ask my mechanic if he is familiar with with them.

That steering stabilizer setup does look a lot like whats on your trailer.
Maybe with pictures of exactly how it's mounted we can guess why they put it there. So far I don't have a guess.

I had a 1977 Excella 500 31' with vacuum/hydraulic disc brakes and it sure didn't have anything like that.

I think that is a sway control for someone that doesn't want a Hensley or ProPride!! Might be a test system for a new weight distribution product!! Ideal for someone that doesn't want or need a WD system or sway control. Possibly is a MPG enhancer!! LOL!
