What is this part?

I found two of these clips on the floor of our 2020 Caravel not long after we had it. Then after a recent trip I found another one on the floor. What the heck are these clips and where did they come from? I'll feel bad if it isn't an Airstream part but I cannot figure out what they were holding in place or where they came from!

Thanks in advance!

Looks like clips of some sort [emoji6]

We always end up looking everywhere around the area you found the mystery item. We don’t have a caravel so I couldn’t begin to easily identify this but you may want to check your window shades? I couldn’t imagine they would come from drawers or cabinets if nothing was open when you found these.

Hinge Clip

That clip snaps over the small lever on the cabinet door hinges to prevent them from being released inadvertently.

Here is a link showing how they are installed.

Those are the greatest invention ever.
Maybe your cabinet hinges already have them.
They slip into the hinge and stop the hinges from falling apart when bumped.

They are a clips that are designed to fall on the floor so when you step on one in your bare feet on the way to the potty you will know the cabinet door is not secure and will open at the most inopportune moment

Ah hah! Thanks everyone. I thought it was related to the cabinets but they all close and snap tight so couldn't figure out where they heck they'd go!

Here's where I got mine.
I bought 40, those hinges are almost everywhere. Since the shipping will be $13 don't scrimp.

we have the same trailer, and I don't see those clips on any of our hinges. Maybe I'll buy some since the dang thing pops off every time I access storage from under the bed. Lucky you!

bparrish, Since your trailer is new.... My first call would be to Jackson Center to see if they forgot to install them on your coach! They may supply you with the clips needed for all the hinges in your unit at no charge. They may have you take your trailer to an A/S dealer to have them properly installed! Ed
