What is this?

Found this in the bumper storage of the Bambi. The fat end is robber covered and swivels. It's about 5" long. Can someone identify it?

What is this?

Pull the rubber cap off. I bet there is a keyhole in there. It looks like a locking hitch receiver pin. I have a similar extra long one with a sleeve to fit my class 4 hitch on my Toyota Tacoma receiver.

If you don’t have the key, they are cheap to replace. Good idea to prevent hitch tampering on the road. I’ve had people pull pins, etc just to be a pain in the tail. (I’m being polite. You know what I’m thinking, and it’s not friendly)

Receiver hitch lock?
Is there a key slot under the rubber cap?

You guys nailed it. And I have the key from previous owners, now I know what it’s for! Thanks.
