Help! We have been on an extended trip with very few problems. I recently (over) filled my water storage tank and we drove in our first heavy rains. Upon arrival, we noticed the carpet in the center area of our 30' classic was soaked. Upon looking at every nook and cranny can not find any obvious source. I can not determine if the problem is related to over-filling tank or a leak. Side we just had service at Jackson Center and the roof was checked, this does not seem likely; I'm also wondering about underside/road water....very confused and frustrated as I know water can be a major problem if not resolved.
IF you have had any experience with this, PLEASE advise. Thanks. Maineah :-(
If you still have the original tube that leads from the outside water fill door to the fresh water tank, that is it first thing to check. It's hard to find a leak on those sometime, but it could be the reason for the water in the trailer. That tube gets brittle over the years and will split.
