Water pump problem

Just started my water pump after winterization I have good pressure from the cold water but half the pressure from the hot water. Could the hot water lines be air bound ?

Are your hot water tank valves open?

More likely an obstruction in the water heater mixing valve if you have one, or one of the winterization bypass valves in the vicinity of the water heater is not on all the way, or has picked up some sediment slowing flow.

Try 'exercising' the bypass valves by gently turning them on and off. That might clear up the problem (or, with my luck, make it worse).

The bypass valve is open but I will try opening and closing them again. I never put the water heater on when I tried the faucets would that affect the flow.

I wouldn't think it would make any difference.
