Water Pressure

Our 2019 30' International has been idle for 5 months. On the road now for 2 weeks. Water pressure on toilet is great but shower and sinks are pitiful. Took off water regulator and water filter at outside connection, no change. Have cleaned all faucets the best that we can, again with no change. Any suggestions?

On city water or pump?

Any change if you go to the opposite of what you’re using?

Check your water heater’s mixing valve?

This is a common problem after de-winterizing; happened to me last spring.

There’s a screen in the Atwood mixing valve on the water heater. This gets clogged with deposits from the bottom of the tank. Remove the valve and clean the screen.

Before you do, get a Camco water heater tank cleaning wand and spray the insides with the drain plug removed.

I bought a new valve and kept the old one as a spare. By the way, I checked mine after one flush and it clogged the screen again (on the original valve after first cleaning).

A friend recommended flushing the tank after each trip as PM to avoid a repeat.

Shortrows,

Did you clean the aerators? I saw you cleaned faucets.

water pressure

Thanks for all the responses! We're on city water, and it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold water. We can tell a little increase on pressure after removing the regulator and the water filter. We cleaned the faucets but the aerators aren't accessible/removeable. Thinking about replacing the fixtures but not sure we want to tackle that project.
If it will ever stop raining and the temps get above freezing we will try your suggestion jeffmc307. No desire to drive in this mess to get the Camco cleaning wand!
Again,thanks!

Our brand new unit doesn’t have enough water pressure on City to even run the water heater.

Dang, I can't hardly believe this to be the case. A fixture with a non-removable areator is essentially useless. How about checking again?

Can you determine faucet manufacturer?

PSI from city is high enough? What’s the chance that your hose has some ice in it?

Sounds like a blockage of some sort as people are saying. Maybe a valve that got turned at some point? Sounds like if you’re in freezing temps and using the unit that it was never winterized, and instead just used?
