water overflow

When hooked up to city water my fresh water tank under the front sofa fills up and eventually overflows out of the fill pipe at the front of the trailer. This is a new problem as I have been hooked to city water before and never had this problem. Any idea on what the problem and fix is?

Most likely a faulty check valve in the water pump. You will find info in a number of threads. Try searching on "check valve."

Could just be sand particle in the valve. That happened once to us, and I just shut off the city water, and then opened a faucet and ran the pump for about 10 minutes. When I turned city water back on the check valve held. Since then I always run a filter on the city water connection and have not had a problem.

Same thing happened a few months ago on my 2009 27FC. Replaced the check valve in the pressure pump, all ok now. Very simple repair. Now carry a spare kit if needed.

Try running the pump..it may clean itself out...or replace the pump
