Hi

Backing up a bit ....

When you bought the trailer, was there a walk through after you did the paperwork? If so, what did they go over with you?

Just FYI because Im seeing both ABS and PVC mentioned... if you're going to join the two, you need to use a mechanical connection. They cannot be glued.

This does not seem to be an issue of craftsmanship, this appears that the OP hit something with such force it broke the connection off pushing it up hard enough to make a dent and damaging the pull valve and box next to it. Personally, we would not even attempt to repair this ourselves, this is a dealer or JC repair IMO.

Yes, we did a full walk through. I did not go Down on the floor and inspect the waste connection. I dumped the tanks once before the connection fell off. Everything seemed normal. I am baffled and will never know what actually happened.

I got all the parts and reamer yesterday and will attempt the repair this morning and will share.

If you dumped the tanks, you had the fitting at that time, otherwise the hose wouldn't attach. Sometimes you never know. I have a dent in a spot that's almost impossible to hit.

Please let us know how it turned out. I'm curious.
My suggestions were to get you dumped once in order to get to the dealer for a real fix.

Hi

That rules out this being a problem at the factory or at the dealer.

Since it's impact damage, you do need to really get under there and see if any of the rest of the parts are also damaged. The valve bodies, the pipes to the valve, the other end of the pipe you will be reaming out, and all the sports are "suspect" at this point. There's other stuff in there so who knows what else might be on that list.

Part of what you need to see will be behind the belly pan. An "inspection camera" from a big box store or from Amazon is one way to poke around in there without drilling out a bunch of rivets.

Nice job! For future reference do your 1/4 turn as you are inserting the pipe all in one motion.
