washing trailer exterior

I find a lot of threads on polishing....I just need to wash the trailer, what do I use? Auto wash stuff? The trailer has been sitting under cover for three years and is very dusty/dirty especially the roof. Thank you, Deb

Deb,
You will get a ton of responses about this ?, but I use a wash & wax combo made by TurtleWax.
It's not that expensive and can be found at most Auto Parts stores, and I think even WallyWorld carries it.

That's what I use. And rubbing alcohol for any pine sap.

Yup... Plenty of water.. Focus on small area.. Top to bottom, then slide over a bit and repeat.

Change water in bucket and washrag often. Scrubbing is a NO-NO!!! Just light touch without towel compression. Let it do the work.

After two passes around the AS it will look good!

I now use a "deck brush" from a boat supply.. Bristles have never scratched and I can drape a towel over the bristles to ensure soft contact but greater reach!!!

Your favorite car wash soap will work just fine. Clean soft rags, rinse often.

Griots Wash and Wax. They also have a $40 foaming sprayer. They have microfibre wash mits and the same for a long pole. Spray it with water, cover the section with a nice layer of foam Wash and Wax and use a bucket of water/Wash and Wax and be gentle.

Anything Griots for the AS and all my cars. Best thing that was ever recommended to me.
