Vin Location on 1956 Overlander

I have recently purchased a 1956 Overlander and I am looking for the location of the VIN number.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The ID plate should be just to the forward edge of the door, if it still exists. Also, go to the vintage Airstream phot archives to get a better look at the 56 Cruiser/Overlander.
