Type of caulk / sealant to use

1983 Limited with some areas that need caulking over windows, around the outside where the skin meets the floor level. I was told that there was a specific brand that Airstream recommends by an owner from years back.
He did not remember the name. Can you help me on this? Also, what is the best time to apply? Heat of the day?? It's in the high 90s most days here now. Cool?? of the evening - low 80s! Should we wait for cooler temps? Philip Z

Most people use Tempro 635, I actually like apply when the temps are high, as I feel it flows a little better . You will find there are many widely varying opinions on sealant. Just no silicone...... There are silicones that are compatible with aluminum but you need to be careful ....
