Has anyone else had Truma install an AquaGo into their travel trailer at the factory in Elkhart? I would be interested in hearing about any experiences (good or bad) that folks have had.
Are there any concerns that I should be aware of? Any reason not to have them install the product?
I don't intend for this to be a discussion of tankless vs tank hot water heaters or Truma vs any other brand, more a discussion of your experiences getting the Truma hot water heater installed.
Finally, my airstream is still under the original 3 year Airstream warranty and obviously this upgrade will void the warranty on the original hot water heater, but could someone please confirm that this upgrade won't void the warranty on the rest of the trailer?
Thanks in advance!

If it's a direct fit replacement, I can't see why not have a 3rd party do the install-- Airstreams are not UFOs and use the same types of plumbing as any other RV or house. Just make sure they use the approved sealants.....
**but** if there are skin modifications needed to accommodate this water heater, I'd probably pass on having a 3rd party do the install. My guess is that you won't void the rest of the trailer warranty, but if there are skin mods, you will surely not get any love from the factory if lets say the skin mods leaked and rotted your floor, or water got behind the alcoa coating that was disturbed or added onto and you started to get fill-form corrosion.
Second I see they have 2 water heaters, one is only avail in new RVs, and from my exp, having a recirc line I think is going to be key to happier tankless solution, which is the one they state is only avail to new RVs on their website.
