Toilet replacement
I have a 2011 23FB Flying Cloud trailer, which I am happy with
except for the toilet. It has the Aqua Magic V all plastic toilet, and
I have to replace the valve. Since I have to remove the toilet to do
this I have dicided to replace it with a better quality ceramic bowel
one.
I e-mailed airstream for advice, but they had no knowlege of any
replacement available for what is in it now.
Has anybody made an upgrade, and if so what did you replace the
original with?

My International 22 came with a great ceramic toilet, but the two Classics (25 and 28) I have owned since came with plastic toilets that I hated. I bought a ceramic Dometic 310 to replace the plastic. The new toilet is about 3/4" higher, but other than that took less space than the plastic. The new toilet stays cleaner and looks better.

I had to replace our toilet once but it was under warranty, however, if I was to do it again I would still go ceramic and one that is taller.

Hi Wayne. I have a 2011 25 foot FB FC with the same toilet you have, angled into position. I bought the 210 ceramic, having heard it would fit. It did not, and I I had to reinstall the old one - hassle. The problematic dimension is from the back wall to the center of the drain. In my case it is just 8.25 inches, and there are no ceramic bowls I have found since that will fit into such a tight space. Good luck, and let us know if you find a fix. Best, Joe

Just replaced our original, all plastic toilet yesterday with a Dometic 320 on our '05 31 Classic. Easy installation, doesn't take up any more room than the old plastic one and is taller, which is what we wanted. The Dometic 320 also comes in a low profile model. Only alteration needed was to cut pex tubing riser shorter, slipped on a 1/2" compression x 1/2" male coupling, attached a 1/2" flex hose with female connections on both ends to the coupling and the toilet inlet and was done. Lowe's carried all the plumbing parts needed for our upgrade. We got the toilet from RV America with free shipping and delivered in under a week. The 320 is quieter than the old one, more comfortable to sit on and looks like it should be easier to keep clean with the ceramic bowl.

I tried the Dometic 320 but it's elongated and didn't fit. Swapped it at Camping world for a 310 with a sprayer and all is good! 2008 27FB. The pictures are in another thread somewhere. Do some searching.

I replaced the plastic one in my 1988 Excella with Amazon.com: Dometic 302310071 White Toilet: Automotive - does not have the sprayer, but I find that it doesn't need it.
