Can you please be specific as to the brand and model number of the toilet. As well, a photo of the valve showing where the leak is will help.

Generally, any kind of valve leak results in changing the valve itself. Basically, the mechanism pushes in a button which opens the valve to admit fresh water to flush the bowl. Different models and makes use different valves, most of which can be purchased online through Amazon or, if you don't mind paying more, from an RV dealer.

Had a similar problem this spring when we turned the water on. The toilet had a major leak, only when you flushed. If you didn't touch the foot flush, no problem. Took the toilet out, found the leaking part. The washer on this stem had turned to jelly. According to the manual the washer was in the vacuum breaker. The Aqua Magic is 38 years old, I took a chance at the RV store with a current Aqua Magic rebuild toilet kit and there it was, the washer that had turned to jelly. Lots of parts I did not need or would fit my older toilet. 25 bucks later up and running no leaks.

Thanks blkmagikca...... That looks very much like the one i got,,,only thing that worries me a bit, is that mine has only the two mounting holes, The one on Amazon appears to have a third hole at top left side If you look at the my pic on flickr w/ part number, the third hole is also there, just seems to be not used w/ plastic over it.... Anyway i am going to buy it... Thanks for your help!
