The BEST Equipment Source?

OK, I have reached my frustration point in trying to buy stuff. In the boating world, Defender had the best prices, prompt shipment at fair cost. West Marine had outrageous prices, but huge stock and prompt shipping. You could get whatever you needed from one of those two with specialized stuff available elsewhere.
In the RV world, Camping World purports to have huge stock, but not all of that is in stock. Prices are the highest and shipping is slow and expensive. Amazon has a lot of stuff but mostly through marketplace vendors with slow shipment, not Prime. Prices vary. Is there any one reliable vendor for general stuff?
My most recent frustration was a new shorepower cord. Camping World misled me on inventory and shipping. Amazon only had what I wanted through smaller vendors, also with misleading inventory data. A vendor I did find gave me bum information on shipping date and location. Prices on that item varied by 40%!
Who is the Defender of the RV world?

Have you tried Vintage Trailer Supply? They don't only have things for vintage trailers....very reliable & prices are fair.

For me it is Amazon. Free fast shipping with Prime and best prices for most everything I need.

Agreed. The store is worth a stop. The website is very good. The staff is outstanding (for the most part).

A very different experience than CW.

I use Ppl all the time and could not be happier. Good customer service and fast shipping. Just ordered toilet from them at a great price and it was there in three days. Usually buy heavier items from them because shipping is a flat 9.95. Amazon is also good on prices sometimes but no one to call if you need help.

Thanks. PPL looks pretty good and I will try them. Although they do not seem to stock the Marinco EEL cord I just ordered.

Actually, they don't really stock a lot of what they have for sale. They use the same major RV wholesale supply company that I use as their 'order fulfillment' source.

They simply send the orders to the wholesaler, who then drop-ship the package to you with either a PPL or non-descript return label on the package.

Oh, OK, but I really meant stock in a broader sense of "list it in their catalog". The PPL catalog is not huge. There must be someone, retail, who has that giant catalog, other than Camping World.

I have had good luck with out of doors mart. Sometimes you have to call them because their online catalog is not great. VTS is a good place but sometimes they are out of stuff. PPL is not bad either. Just search the net for hard to find stuff. I have even bought stuff on Ebay will good luck.

Out-of-Doors Mart MORE Airstream Parts on-line than anyone!!! And we accept PayPal.

ODM is good for Airstream parts, helpful, friendly, and easy shipping to me. I use them whenever I need something Airstream. I have never tried them for general RV stuff. I just assume that dealer parts operations, including SOB dealers, quote a full retail price. You know there is a nice profit in list price, which would be fine if no one offered lower prices. That is the West Marine model. If Amazon has it, it is always a lower price.

We are vintage, I mean the trailers are, I have had service from Inland, Vintage Trailer Supply. PPL, Etrailer, and lucky to have lots of local sourcing.

Another vote for Amazon.
Campiong World, in my humble opinion, is a bunch of high priced stuff unless you get it on clearance. I ain't lost nothin' at no Campin' World-
