Table repair

We have a 2007 27FB Classic. The table fits loosely and has been coming off the wall on recent trips. I will attempt to bend the clips for a tighter fit. Is there a better fix for this?

The fix is not the issue, but the cause is.

The following is a list of things that can cause that table leg to give up.

Lack of proper running gear balance.
Bent wheel.
Excessive rated hitch bars.
Excessive rated tow vehicle.

And lastly, especially on older trailers or if one has not moved in 2 to 3 years, bad rubber rods within the axle tube.

To check the axles out, pull one wheel up on a couple of 2 x 6's. The other wheel should drop about 3 inches. If not, then you should further check the axles out. Is the torsion arm, as it goes rearward, going down hill, or level with the frame, or going uphill as it goes rearward?
