Stove Removal '84 Excella

The oven in our camper doesn't appear yo light. The burners on the top light fine. I have been told that I need to check/clean the propane connections, looking for a blockage dud go insects. Also, the oven light is very film when turned on...supposedly a ground problem. Given all of this, don't I need go pull the stove out so I can do a bench test? Help! Thanks in advance!

Are you doing the oven lighting ritual correctly?

1. Rotate oven knob to "pilot"
2. Push knob in, should move noticeably
3. Wait 30 seconds to a minute
4. While continuing to hold knob in, apply flame to the pilot light area( this requires some dexterity)
5. Pilot light should light
6. Set oven to desired temperature
7. Visit chiropractor
