Hello AS friends..

Ok,, now I have a AS that I always wanted.. You guys need to be a little more honest about how much work it takes to polish them up.. My goodness..!!!!

Got 2 rear panels done today in 4 hours and my arms feel like fence posts.

A post here I read back from 2009 said once one started you cant then quit.. Scratches and bumps I did not even know it had now show up.. But like another poster said,, 95% of all people who see it is from over 30 feet away!

In that case it looks just great ,, other than its not done.. Anybody want to help?

Looking good! I found that each grade/step of nuvite made dramatic improvements over the last.
I also found that having the right buffing pads makes all the difference. Keep going and post more pics!

You're arms feel like fence posts now, wait until a week or so of doing this work!

I was thinking I was gonna find some help to polish my 20 footer. Never did find help and finally got it done....all by myself! And yes, its every bit of work they say it is.

But you're into it now so you have to finish. You won't be disappointed in the end and your arms will be buff....right in time for summer.

Fast question..

Looks better at sundown and 30 feet away than it did when I shut down for the day. I almost feel like running out and getting another panel done before dark..

Since we do not live by any large city's with smog or acid rain,, how long will a shine last before another battle with "The Grays" has to happen again?

Other than a good wax job is there anything else a person can do?

My fear is about the time I'm seeing the end of this job the first will need a re treatment.. Ugh!

Watch out and don't end up with tennis elbow...just take your time.
The shine lasts a pretty long time. I think wax will dull it.

Penokee is NW of Hays about 70 miles... We are blessed with one working stoplight in over 1200 sq miles..

After 120 years the Federal Govt wanted us to have stop signs and street signs here in the RR part of the world.. I got word it cost over $650,000... So now we have a fancy city address,, and stop signs to look at as we drive by.

Largest problem is fresh foods.. We are smack between Denver and Kansas City so what's left on the empty truck floor is now on display in out store..

Got up today feeling like I was stuck in the middle of a stampede of wild cows. But once I looked outside at my Overlander, most of the pain went away and now trying to figure out where I can find the time today to polish another panel..
