Source for 3M Foam for Mounting SS Fixtures
Does anyone know what the 3M product name or SKU for the 'foam' Airstream uses to mount stainless, actually almost every, fixture on the exterior skin?
I'm wanting to buy some that is not pre-cut to isolate my 're-engineered' side vent refer fan(s). Hopefully I can find a retail place to get a small quantity for my project.
Search the web for "3M 300LSE Sheets" and select the source and size you require. 3M 300MP is offered as tape in a variety of widths/thicknesses and 300LSE (low surface energy) sheets are specifically formulated to adhere to a variety of plastic surfaces which is what you want since the aluminum skin has a coating.

Thank you, all! I just could not find anything with the limited info I had, your help is appreciated.
The Amazon link takes me to a double-sided adhesive product, I'm needing the single-sided one but at least this is more info than I had. I've been a McMaster-Carr customer for some time. I'll check there and see what I can find.
