Shower Valve Magically Turns Itself!

After getting in the shower and adjusting the handle to my desired temperature, I noticed that the water started getting hotter. I looked down and saw that the handle was turning to the hot side. After some investigation, I found that if I turned the handle past the top position, the weight of the handle was enough to cause it to turn. Has anyone else had this problem. I've had lots of Moen faucets and never seen this issue before. My first guess is that for some reason the cartridge isn't tight enough.

FYI, this is a brand new trailer, but I'd rather fix it myself instead of towing it back to the dealer.

My delta shower valve on my 2020 GT is very easy to turn but I have not investigated it yet.

Yes, We had the same issue.

We were having other warranty work done in Jackson Center and that was one of our punch-list items (2019 FC25-RBT).

They eventually found that the cartridge had too much lubrication on it. He wiped it off a bit, put it back and it's been fine since then.

Our's 'fell' on the cold side but I imagine it could be the same reason.

Same issue in our 2019 27 foot International FB.

Have some Warranty Tweaks and this was one. The first thing the Service Manager looked was in the closet... On the right side is the Shower. In the closet is an access panel to the faucet in ours. He said it was something he could fix/adjust... whatever.

When the water pump was running... the valve handle would move with the vibrations. I pulled the handle off while Boondocking to take a look on the inside of the shower. There was nothing I could tighten or adjust. Apparently it can be done... through the CLOSET.

Like post #4... maybe that is what they will do. At least I will know how to get to it if necessary... through the closet.
