Shore power problem
The last few times we've been camping we have had problems when connecting to shore power at the trailer connection. We have a 50 amp trailer, but whether we're using 50 amp cord or 30 amp cord with a 50 adapter to the trailer, we have trouble getting the refrigerator to switch off propane to electricity (AC will also give E7 reading which I know is lack of 120 power).
We have to twist the power cord at the trailer back and forth till we find a sweet spot , then it works the way it should. However, the sweet spot is not consistent, and sometimes it takes 5 minutes to work properly and sometimes much much longer. It's very frustrating. Sometimes it will work for a few hours and then we have to start all over again.
The trailer is a 2020, 25 FC. We use it almost every month and this problem is new in the last 8 months or so
Any ideas? I've reset breakers, turned off trailer to store mode and started anew, taken the surge protector out of the line and gone straight to power box, nothing ever works 2 times in a row.
Anyone know the location of the power cord inside the trailer? Thought I might look for loose connection? Help me Mr. wizard!
