shop for new axle
Hi everyone, I have a 66 safari and want to have a new dura-torque axle installed (and all the fixins). I live in south eastern PA near Lancaster and I’m trying to find someone who can do this work. The local RV repair shop is great for doing my annual inspection but they looked at it and told me that it didn’t need one – that they’d do it if I wanted them to do it but it didn’t need one. It definitely needs one. I am going to order one from Andy but I’m not sold that the local shop will do a great job installing it. Is it easy enough to just go ahead and trust them to do it? They do have a good general reputation around here and they definitely weren't trying to sell me anything. Or do I need an airstream shop? And if I do, does anyone have any recommendations within a reasonable drive? Thanks all!
