I have all the wood floor out of my trailer. (31’ 74). A few of the bolts are still holding it loosely to the frame. I’m in the process of installing subfloor.
I have realized that the frame is rather flexible and depending how it is resting on jacks will slinky into alignment with the shell. So I can install subfloor.
How much of the overall strength comes from the shell and all of the components being securely bolted togeather?

Quick answer. 100% of the strength comes from fully connected. Slinky is a good discript as is. Kinda spooky 1st time you see it. Carefull about removing all the floor at once. The body can flex out and slip off the frame & outriggers. May want to add some temporary plywood strips accross the frame under the C-channel while you work, if you do a screw on both ends through th C-channel into the ply should secure it.
