Screen door hinge Buck and Pop rivets?

Anyone know exact specifications for these on the screen door latch. I am replacing the main door hinge and can see no info posted on changing the hinge related to the screen door. The main door hinge comes with the hinge point to attach the screen door. The Buck rivets look bigger than the general exterior panel rivets.

Bump. I too need to know. My screen door hinge rivets are stretched and I need to reset the screen door, by drilling out all the rivets and redoing them.
Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the 3 bucked rivets on each hinge?
Thanks, George

I need this info too. I have a cracked hinge and I need to install the replacement.

A 5/32 solid rivet fits in the hole of the new hinge but the rivet head is bigger than the rivets used on the body. No info in the service manual.

A little Googling and I think they are 5/32 Brazier head rivets. McMaster has them for $10 for a pkg of 250. I'm ordering a pkg. and if they are correct I can send some to you guys.

the dealer should know

We replaced the screen door due to damage from an attempted break-in while in remote storage. The dealer supplied all the parts, including the correct rivets. Because there is no Airstream dealer in AK, and I was suspicious of some dodgy answers given by SOB shops, I found an aircraft repair outfit that spoke fluent "rivet" for the work. They reported that the dealer-supplied parts worked great.

Are the rivets you refer to for your '71? Our screen door fell off our '72 Safari and we need to rivet it onto the hinge? Our original manual says to use 5/32" but not a specific type of rivet. The only mention of a specific kind of rivet in the book is the Olympic rivet. I don't know the difference between a buck rivet, a brazier head rivet and the Olympic rivet. HELP!!!!

You can buy buck rivets from VIntage Trailer Supply. Thatís where I got mine from.

The screen door on my 73 uses 3 buck rivets and 3 pop rivets. The pop rivets arenít standard head pop rivets. They have a bigger head.
