Scheduling Service, 5 Rivet Dealer

Last week I used the convenient on-line service request form to my currently local (California) 5 Rivet dealer for tire replacement and brake inspection/replacement any time in January 2022. The response:

"Hello -----, we received your request for service , we currently are experiencing high demand and are booking drop off appointments starting Feb. 8th.-11th. ,once dropped off turnaround time is apx 2weeks , we do not do tires here , I would recommend your favorite tire shop in your local area. Let me know what day works best for you to drop off"

So, a heads up for those who are seeking dealer service. I am a full timer, so my trailer sitting on a lot for two weeks is not gonna work. But if you are thinking about service, start making your appointments now.

Why not...

Go to a tire outlet and/or trailer service center, nothing special about AS tires or brakes.
Side note...I would avoid Camping World like the kovid.

Thanks, Robert. Called DiscountTire today, and they told my Goodyear had put a nationwide alert to all dealers they were out of Endurance trailer tires, and have no idea when new ones will be shipped. They advised calling back in a month...

Vinnie and Ronnie use the Michelan Agilis tires, any luck with those?

Supervise jacking if at a tire shop. Make sure they hit the jacks points. Better yet, bring your own ramps.
