Scare Light removal

How is the curbside scare light bezel removed without damage?

Ours is/was screwed in but attached with copious amounts of sealant behind the light. Careful use of a razor blade cut away the sealant and allowed us to get the light out.

Anytime you try to clean off old sealant it’s a good idea to mask off the aluminum skin a few inches out and around the object with a couple layers of blue painter’s tape to help mitigate the inevitable tool slips.
