Just my opinion ... but I think most of these "warranty" program are not worth their quoted price. Just another way for the dealer to make some money.

We purchased our Airstream from CamperClinic II. The Forever Warranty was a big motivator to purchase from them. The warranty was included with the purchase and upon research, I could find little negative feedback.
But to be clear, I spoke with the Warranty Forever folks. You DO NOT have to take this to an authorized airstream dealer for an annual inspection. You may take it to Camping World for $129.00 for their annual inspection to keep your warranty intact. For $129 a year, it is certainly a worth while value. My understanding is that the warranty is "bumper to bumper".

Just thought I would chime in with my findings. If you have found something that contradicts this, please advise.

Thanks
Dendy

RV Warranty Forever! ?????

Personally, I don't think so.

Wring out your new trailer by actually using it. Start a punch list and get everything squared away while it is under warranty. $3000.00 is a lot of money for a towable. No engine, no transmission, dead simple mechanicals... The appliances are all pretty much generic RV and, for the most part, pretty simple and robust.

I haven't spent 3 grand in the last 5 years on mine and it is almost 30 years old...

My 2 cents,

Mike

Ours came with this, actually our "annual service " was quoted at $600 on a 23d and went up or down depending on length. With that plus a 400 mile round trip to dealer I chose not to do so. At some point I may regret that I didn't keep it up.

Camping World is an authorized center to renew. Quote I got from them was $125.00

Well worth the lifetime warranty.

Grateful for this post because we also got the Warranty Forever with our 2015 Flying Cloud last summer. We were slightly mislead by the dealership when they said, "just bring it to us or another dealership to have it checked out once every year to keep the warranty in tact forever." Now, I'm trying to work out the details and find out that the "inspection" will cost about $300 and we have to leave our beloved Cloud with them to keep it for several days until they get around to the inspection and that it will be stored outside (not a good idea with spring storms in Texas). Add this to the fact that I am having trouble finding a dealership anywhere near us and I'm about to say, "thanks but no thanks" to this so called warranty!

We got the Warranty Forever when we bought New Lucy (our 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB) at Dixie Airstream in DeFuniak, Florida in October of 2014. Dixie's cost to do the inspection is $175.00, and so far we have had it done once (in July, 2015). Also, we made an appointment, and it was done in about 1 hour while we waited.

We figure at that cost, we will keep it in force. An annual shop inspection is not a bad idea, anyway.

I have priced repairs on things like the Dometic fridge or an AC unit. It 'ain't' cheap. The warranty company isn't making any money on the inspection. The inspection is simply a requirement to keep the policy renewed. It isn't much different than required maintenance intervals on a new truck. (required to keep the extended warranty in effect).

I see nothing wrong with the insurance company requiring that you prove you are maintaining the trailer with some err of responsibility and accountability.

As long those who have it, accept it a a 'service' plan it may worth it.

In my experience....(15yrs of claim submissions)

If a 'warrantee',(Ins. Plan), is not offered/supported by the manufacturer,(GMPP), it's not worth getting.

Exceptions..API & Interstate for motor vehicles.
