Do the newer Airstreams all have the same size feet? If so, can someone kindly confirm the model number required?

Thank you!

What is the SnapPad model that actually fits an 2021 Airstream International? 5" Mini? 4.5" Mini? Do not see where this is clearly indicated.

Good Idea

My wife would like them better than trying to place Hoss Pads in the perfect spot under each pad. Her task she likes to crank the stabilizers up and down so I let her. When you lift our trailer they would help take up some of the space.

If you have a set when we come up I’ll buy them!

Hoss Pads

Well this will open a can of whoop ---- but we have used rubber Hoss Pads for years

I bough them for the isolation quality it gives when the stabilizers are on them. Also for electrical storms they are considered a safety item. Other uses, Hoss Pads work for leveling and when the trailer is in storage on concrete they keep the tires separated from the floor. I will still use them however the snap pads are a greag idea. Each to his own.

These are a lot more convenient than you think.

A lot of RV parks require jack pads as they have asphalt RV sites and the steel smaller feet sink into the warm asphalt. Also in muddy situations the larger surface area of the pad won't sink a far in the mud and provides more support.

These save space as you don't have to store them. They stay firmly on the jack feet and you don't have to crawl under the trailer and mess with positioning a plastic pad or block of wood. They also don't slip on a concrete pad so they hold the trailer a little more stable.

I have used them for a couple of years on a class B+ motorhome with automatic levelers and they worked great. They are a well built product that will last for years and help protect the jack feet as well as the surface where the feet impact the ground.

I have a 2022 Airstream Globetrotter coming in September and I am glad that these are now available for Airstream.

Thanks GMFL.....

Just put Snappads on my 2006 25' Airstream because I like the idea of not having to reach 4 the orange pads each and every time we deploy the stabilizers AND ironically, to reclaim an inch of extension from the 3" lift installed, by none other than the original poster, GMFL himself.

First one was a bear to put on, even soaping the edges of the pad lips....

So, noticing some flex to the pad and a center drainage hole, I grabbed a spare hitch ball from my garage and put just enough pressure on the pad (centered on top of the ball) to flex it and then used a heavy plastic trim tool to lever lip over edge of metal pad. Got really good at it by the 4th (and likely last ever pad installed ;-)
1st pad: 10 plus minutes.....4th, 30 seconds.

While the GT stabilizer feet are 5.5” x 5.5”, I believe they are manufactured by LCI and have a higher lip on them that prevents the regular SnapPad mini 5 from working. If you have BAL stabilizers, no problem. We have a 30RBT GT coming in October and was told by SnapPad they are still working on a solution. From what photos we have seen, the GT is using LCI stabilizers.

Sharp Edges

Our 2021 was a mild fight to install all pads. The Jack feet pads wanted to cut into the Snap Pad moldings I had to have one warranty on one pad. Took our time lots of soap three out of four went on ok. Your thought of the ball is a great idea!

That’s said once on they now move around some but in 4000 miles have not fallen off and we like how they perform as a stabilizing pad. If your trailer has had a lift they are almost a necessary item.

I used our cut up warranty pad as a on off ft Jack pad. They are working on making one for the Airsteam Baker Jack pad.

Not Stable Yet

The Snap Pad 5.5 mini 4 pack for BAL stabilizers has a 4-6 week back log.

They sold a lot of them at the international rally so that's probably a contributing factor. But, IMHO, it is worth waiting for them.

Hey, thanks for this, ...
We really want them too.
I wonder if they'd fit a 2018 Classic 30RB?

I like the idea and I'm tempted to buy but there are many times that I need to put a stack of blocks under the front or rear pads to reach the ground. The need for extra height neutralizes the effectiveness of the pads and makes me hesitant to outlay the cash. I would expect the price to go down once demand is satisfied and they would then be a more attractive purchase.

The power stabilizers that came standard on my 2016 Classic fixed a non existent problem. Since I put down plastic pads below the stabilizers, the power stabilizers took much longer to deploy that the manual stabilizers I had on previous Airstreams. Snap Pads solve the power stabilizer problem. Now the power stabilizers are actually quicker to deploy than the old manual stabilizers and I don't hate them as much, though I would still prefer manual stabilizers for their simplicity (less electric gizmos to potentially break).

I think these are very nice but I took the inexpensive route. Walmart sells bed risers for $6.00 a pack of four. I have about 25 nights use on these and they are holding up well. The big advantage is your stabilizer isn't down as far giving you a wider stance between the stabilizers.

Three trips.

Hi, we have taken three short trips this summer so far and I never even used my stabilizers. I don't even use them anymore. My tires and tongue jack hold my trailer in place just fine. The last time that I used my stabilizers was over two years ago at the Jackson Rancheria Airstream Rally.
