Running/tail lights

The running and tail lights aren’t coming on when plugged into tow vehicle. Brake lights , brakes, and blinker works. Tried two different tow vehicles, same results.

The first thing I would try is taking a small nail file and clean the contacts in the Airstream's umbilical. Then you can test the running by taking a 10+ amp large plastic automotive fuse and stick it in the two contacts in either side of the key on the umbilical. The running lights should light.
